What is foiling?
Foiling does not only mean highlighting. As color artists we create unique designs using different tools and patterns. By holding and separating the hair, foils are used in creating such effects as dimensional coloring, color melting, (colors which fade into another) highlighting and low lighting, allowing the color artist to use multiple color formulas and ideas that are designed especially for your particular needs.

Dimensional coloring is a technique that simply adds dimension and texture. It can be used to make fine hair look fuller, and it is often recommended to compliment a designer style cut.

How long should I wait to have a hair cut? Should I cut my hair even if I am growing it out?
During your design consultation, your stylist will deliver a personalized recommendation using principles of haircutting, to create and recreate a form and shape for your hair texture, face shape, and lifestyle.
Includes education on the importance of your maintenance schedule to keep your fresh new look. Guests should reschedule their haircuts anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks. Men and women with shorter style cuts may need more frequent appointments, where guests with medium to long length styles could extend to the 6 th week.
If you choose to grow your hair longer, guests often think they do not need to cut their hair. Neglecting this service will result in split ends and/or breakage defeating the growth process. These guests should stay scheduled between the 6 th and 8 th week.

What can I do to help my color from fading?
The use of professional shampoos and conditioners, as well as styling products is important in the maintenance of keeping your color lasting longer. Deep conditioning treatments are also recommended to prevent color fading.
